Is this the face I’ll get in the app?
Yes. This page uses the app’s Companion artwork, including its blinks, hearts and wink. You can also choose Classic, Round or Cat in Settings → Momo.
What if my Mac has no notch?
Momo can live in a small black island at the top of the screen, including on an external display. The app requires macOS 14 or newer.
What permissions does Momo need?
Cursor-following eyes and the shortcut need no extra permission. Calendar and Reminders each ask separately. Music and Spotify controls use Automation. Optional direct paste needs Accessibility.
What stays private?
Notes and clipboard history stay on your Mac. Clipboard capture is opt-in. Optional integrations, weather, licensing and updates contact their services directly. Integration keys use your login Keychain; choose restricted, read-only keys where available. Read our privacy page.
Can Momo stay out of the way?
Quiet Mode suppresses reactions and notifications for 30 minutes, one hour or until you turn it off. Choose it from the panel or menu bar before a call. Use Reduce Motion for calmer animation. Presentation mode hides Momo and pauses background tools. Fullscreen hiding follows the display Momo is on.
How do purchases and licences work?
Purchase a licence through Dodo Payments, then activate your key in the app to unlock the companion and tools. There is no free trial. Review the price and purchase terms there. Activate in Settings → Licence, and deactivate while online before moving to another Mac. Device limits follow your purchase. See the support guide for help.
